Guidance on Vermont’s Child Care Contribution Payroll Tax
New guidance is now available for businesses and the self-employed in terms of reporting and remittance of the new payroll and self-employment income tax which began on July 1, 2024.
To begin, the Vermont Department of Taxes hosted webinars for employers and self-employed individuals and published the Vermont Child Care Contribution Guide. Recorded webinars, presentations, and frequently asked questions are available on their website.
