Vermont Minimum Wage Increase: January 1
Starting January 1, Vermont’s minimum wage will increase 13 cents an hour to $8.73 an hour (up from $8.60). Workers who earn tips will see their minimum wage increase six cents an hour, to $4.23. Since the State’s wage rate is tied to the consumer price index, the Vermont Department of Labor calculates any adjustments that need to be made for the following year.
