The Importance of Early Financial Education

An article recently published by Plan Adviser online explores the importance of early finanical education and the role it plays in a person’s long-term financial success.

A survey done by MoneyRates.com indicated that people who received little to no finanical education were much less likely to rate themselves as proficient in financial concets that the respondents who reporting receiving more finance education in high school.  Most people surveyed (62%) think that this type of education should be a requirement in high school, with even more (88%) believing it should at least be available as an option.
