Sterling College Named A Top Performer in Sustainable Campus Index

Craftsbury Common, VT – Sterling College has been recognized as a sustainability leader in the 2015 Sustainable Campus Index, achieving the number one ranking in Dining & Food, tying for first place in both Grounds and Coordination & Planning, tied for third place in Investment, and ranked fifth for Curriculum. The 2015 Sustainable Campus Index highlights top-performing colleges and universities in 17 areas, as measured by the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS).

Sterling College earned 68% of points available in the Dining & Food subcategory, and 89.8% of points available in the Curriculum subcategory. Sterling College earned 100% of points available in both the Grounds and Coordination & Planning subcategories, and 57.1% of points available in the Investment subcategory.
