Major Grant for Grow Compost

Grow Compost of Moretown received a $75,000 agriculture grant from the Working Lands Enterprise Board Tuesday.

The money will be used to fund a long-range strategic plan to assist businesses and farms to comply with the provisions of the recently enacted Act 148 Universal Recycling Law.

The Grow Compost grant and 37 others totaling $1.1 million were announced Tuesday at a press conference, hosted by the Moretown operation.
