E-filing Continues to Climb in Popularity

More Vermont taxpayers are seeing the benefits of e-filing their personal income tax return versus filing a paper return. As of June 22, 2015, the Department received 282,756 e-filed returns and 71,116 paper returns. That represents a nearly 3% rise from the 274,605 e-filed returns received by the same time in 2014, and a 6% decrease from the 75,672 paper-filed returns for 2014.
