Voluntary Self-Audit Program for Sales Tax

The Vermont Department of Taxes website now has a voluntary self-audit program for sales tax. The program is called “Know What You Owe,” and is meant to help business owners better understand the Vermont Sales and Use and Meals and Rooms taxes. Sign-up is from August 1st 2013 to May 1st 2014.
