Tax Season Donation Awarded to Lyric Theatre Company, Vermont

Every tax season the Firm includes client surveys with completed tax returns. For each completed survey that is returned to us, we donate $5 to a local charity. In addition, we donate $5 on behalf of every client who opts to pick up their tax return upon completion rather than having it mailed directly to them.

As a result of these efforts, we are very pleased to announce that we had $1,100 to donate this year!

In an effort to make the greatest impact on a local organization, the Firm will select one nonprofit client to receive the tax season donation each year moving forward.

For the 2014 tax season, We are very pleased to award the $1,100 tax season donation to the Lyric Theatre Company and their current capital campaign. The Lyric Theatre, a Davis & Hodgdon client since 2007, is one of the largest amateur theater companies in the U.S. As a community institution they are committed to keeping their productions affordable, offering educational and theatrical activities, sharing resources and working cooperatively with schools and other community groups.
