The ideal candidate will display a potential to lead, delegate, work well with clients and firm members, and display solid project management skills. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be detail oriented, disciplined, and highly organized. The marketing aspects of the job require the individual to possess good communication skills and project a professional image that reflects on the Firm as a whole.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tax/or audit experience in public accounting, and he/she is upto-date on current tax/audit practices and changes in law.
Experience with Thomson Reuters and Intuit software products is strongly desired.
The applicant must have experience managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION/ LICENSE CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing or CPA candidate
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES — SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years tax experience in Public Accounting.
- Computer literate and expertise with various computer software applications:
- Thomson Tax & Accounting Suite of Products (including CS Accounting, UltraTax, Planner CS, Practice, File Cabinet Solution, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and QuickBooks among others.
