Firm donates $1200 to local charities

“Our clients made it easy to give $1,200 to local charities,” said Managing Partner John Davis of Davis & Hodgdon CPAs.  “Each year, following tax season, we include a satisfaction survey with each client’s completed tax return,” shared Davis, “for each completed survey returned to us, our firm donates $5 to a local charity.”  In addition, another $5 is donated by the firm on behalf of every client that opts to pick up their tax return upon completion rather than having it mailed directly to them.

As a result of these combined efforts, the firm was able to give a total of $1,200 to the following local organizations:

• Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont
• Dress for Success Burlington
• Vermont Foodbank
• Prevent Child Abuse Vermont
• The Special Olympics local chapter
• The Honduras Rehab Project
