Davis & Hodgdon Celebrates 25 Years!
Celebrating 25 Years in 2015
This year marks a significant company milestone for Davis & Hodgdon – our 25th anniversary.
In 1990 the seeds were planted when John W. Davis founded the firm, John Davis & Associates, with a vision to provide a more proactive and strategic approach for clients than was standard accounting industry practice. Since then the business has grown and evolved, forging life-long relationships, and continuing to offer a unique brand of service focused on innovation. In 2006, following the addition of Bret Hodgdon as partner, the firm was renamed Davis & Hodgdon Associates.
As we celebrate this milestone we also celebrate the progress of our community as a whole and the great strides we have made together to affect positive change:
• In 2010 we installed 96 silicon solar panels on our building, generating 23,000 kilowatts of electricity.
• In 2011 we became the first – and remain the only– accounting firm to earn Vermont Green Business designation.
• In January 2012 we launched a semi-annual economic survey of Vermont businesses.
• In 2014 we introduced the first-of-its-kind Corporate Social Responsibility policy for small- to medium-sized businesses.
• In 2014 we began a strategic partnership with Mercy Connections’ Women’s Small Business Program.
But our greatest pride comes in our enduring relationships with our clients, in sharing their success, and in delivering extraordinary personal service, every day. Thank you for making 25 years possible.
