Davis & Hodgdon Sponsors Generator’s JumpStart – Business of Art
As part of Davis & Hodgdon’s multi-year signature partnership with Generator Makerspace in Burlington, we are thrilled to announce our sponsorship of the new JumpStart Business of Art program.
Generator’s Business of Art is a 9-week intensive exclusively for artists who are ready to turn their practices into a sustainable business.
A panel of retailers, curators, and art professionals will select up to eight artists with established bodies of work to participate in the 9-week program.
Selected artists will receive:
- free access to Generator’s tools, resources, and shared workspace
- free public lectures and group coaching from established artist-entrepreneurs and industry professionals
- free expert mentoring and technical assistance
- an artist-entrepreneur stipend
In addition to a monetary sponsorship of the program, Davis & Hodgdon’s Matt Cleare, CPA, CGMA will lead the November 20th cohort session “Accounting for Creatives”. He will cover information about sales, projections, cash flow, accounting, and taxes for artists.
