Professional Staff

John W. Davis, CPA, CFP, PFS, CVA – (Extension 112, johnd@dh-cpa.com) has over 30 years of public accounting experience. In 1990, John founded John Davis and Associates, CPA's. John has successfully completed the certification process with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). John has also been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation by the AICPA and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) from the IAFP. John focuses in the areas of strategic planning for family businesses, business sales and acquisitions, alternative sources of financing, and business valuations. He is also involved with the financial and estate planning for individuals. John is a member of Vermont Society of CPAs (VSCPA) and the AICPA, John is the past chair of the Lake Champlain Workforce Improvement Board and is a member of the South Burlington Rotary.

Bret L. Hodgdon, CPA, CFP, CFE– (Extension 116, breth@dh-cpa.com) Bret was admitted as Partner in January 2005 and now leads the Audit and Accounting Department for the firm. Bret earned the title of Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2007 and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in 2008. His ownership and commitment to the firm’s future is represented with the decision in 2006 to change the firm’s name after 16 years to include Hodgdon in the marquee. Bret is a graduate of Lyndon State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Since 1998 he has worked with a variety of clients providing audit, tax and consulting services in a number of specialized areas such as non-profit organizations, the construction industry and wholesale/retail. Bret resides in Jericho with his wife Nicole, his daughter Grace, son Gavin and their dog Callie. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis. Bret is an avid sports fan who lives and dies with the Boston Red Sox.

Dawn G. Grenn, CPA – (Extension 118, dawn@dh-cpa.com) Dawn has over 23 years of public accounting experience primarily in the tax and consulting area. She relocated to Vermont from New Orleans, Louisiana where she was a member in the firm of Freedman & Grenn LLC which offered comprehensive tax and consulting services. Dawn is Treasurer of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont. She is also a member of the AICPA and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed in Louisiana and Vermont. As a resident of Essex, she enjoys hiking with her husband and two daughters.

Nicole, Sancibrian, CPA - (Extension 114, nicole@dh-cpa.com) Nicole has over 14 years experience in public accounting primarily in tax and auditing. She is a graduate of Castleton State College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Nicole is a member of the AICPA and Vermont Society of Public Accountants. She is currently the Treasurer for the Northfield Country Club and resides in East Montpelier with her husband, two sons, and two yellow labs. In her spare time she enjoys playing golf, running and watching her children play hockey.

Jordan Nelle, CPA (Extension 121, jordan@dh-cpa.com) Jordan is a Senior Accountant with Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs, specializing in auditing. She had over 3 years of previous experience in compliance and local governmental entity auditing before joining the firm in the fall of 2010. She is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Jordan is a member of the AICPA and Vermont Society of Public Accountants. She is originally from Hyde Park and currently resides in South Burlington with her boyfriend and three cats. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and various outdoor activities including hiking and biking.

Jessica Ingram, CPA (Extension 128, jessica@dh-cpa.com) Jessica Ingram is a Senior Accountant with Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs. Jessica is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She has previously worked as a bookkeeper for a local non-profit organization in Burlington. Jessica is currently the Treasurer for Rebuilding Together *Greater Burlington. Jessica is originally from Southern Maine but currently resides in Essex Center with her boyfriend and yellow lab pup. In her free time she enjoys pursuing a passion for photography.

Jonathan H. Breen, CPA (Extension 130, jonathan@dh-cpa.com) Jonathan is an Associate Accountant with Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma Washington with a degree in Music and from Franklin Pierce University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance. He joins the firm with prior accounting experience at a manufacturing company in New Hampshire and a local public accounting firm. Jonathan is originally from Hew Hampshire, grew up in Dallas, Oregan, and now resides with his wife and daughter in Essex Junction. He is on the Budget and Finance Committee of the Green Mountain Club and enjoys hiking, snowshoeing and other outdoor pursuits with his family.

Kelley Boyden (Extension 119, kelley@dh-cpa.com) Kelley is an Associate Accountant with Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs. She is a graduate of Saint Michael's College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Kelley is originally from Jericho but currently resides in Burlington. In her spare time she enjoys playing soccer along with various outdoor activities.

Katie Rubalcaba (Extension 124, katie@dh-cpa.com) Katie is an Associate Accountant with Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs. She is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and is preparing to sit for the CPA exam. Katie has had several internships in the accounting industry including a previous tax internship with Davis & Hodgdon. She is originally from Barre and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and many outdoor activities including camping, hiking and snowboarding.

Jessica Taylor (Extension 123, jessicat@dh-cpa.com) Jessica is an Associate Accountant with Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs. She earned a Master of Accounting Degree from the University of Vermont and a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Colby College. As an undergraduate she studied the Chinese language at Beida University in Bejing, China. She continued to study Chinese after moving to Hsinchu, Taiwan where she lived and worked as an English Language teacher. Currently, she is preparing to sit for the CPA exam. Originally from Essex, VT and Presque Isle, ME, Jessica currently resides in Milton. In her spare time she enjoys marathon running, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Miran Gosto (Extension 115, mgosto@dh-cpa.com) Miran is currently a student at the Community College of Vermont (CCV) working towards an Associate degree in Business with the goal of earning his Bachelor's degree in International Business. He is a graduate of Essex High School and the Center for Technology - Business Academy I and II. While at the Center for Technology, Miran interned at local financial and accounting firms. He enjoys music and various athletic activities.

Entrepreneurial Advisor Services

Geoff Robertson, MBA – (Extension 113, geoff@dh-cpa.com) Geoff is our Business Consultant and works with a variety of clients providing management consulting services. These services include strategic planning, financial forecasting, management reporting techniques, benchmarking, operations analysis, and other performance improvement services. Previously, Geoff managed a family-owned real estate investment company, consulted in the alternative energy and energy conservation arenas and served as a sales and marketing professional in the publishing industry. He is an active director on the boards of four non-profits where he has served on investment, governance and compensation committees. Geoff is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where he earned his MBA in Management and a Bachelors Degree in Small Business. Geoff is passionate about sustainability issues, particularly as they relate to business and enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle.

Office Administration

Kathryn C. Baccaglini (Extension 111, kathryn@dh-cpa.com) Kathryn C. Baccaglini is our Firm Administrator. With several years of business management experience, she brings her knowledge in the areas of human resources, contract and facilities management, government contracting, and marketing to the Firm. She is responsible for daily office operations, as well as finance, personnel, and information technology. Kathryn is currently a Board Member of the Women's Business Owners Network (WBON) and a member of Pet Partners of Vermont. She is a graduate of Elon University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and currently resides in Essex.

Jennifer Krause (Extension 127, jennifer@dh-cpa.com) Jennifer Krause is our firm's Assistant Firm Administrator. Jennifer has many years of office management experience including general office administration, bookkeeping, human resources and marketing. She is responsible for assisting the Firm Administrator with all daily office and network operations. She is a graduate of St. Michael's College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and currently resides in Essex Junction with her husband and two daughters.

Anna Perreault – (Extension 110, anna@dh-cpa.com) Anna is our firm’s Client Relations Associate, bringing a vast administrative and retail background. She handles the reception, scheduling and front desk area for our firm as well as assisting in tax return processing, client mailings and a number of other administrative tasks. She also assists as our JDA Financial Services coordinator. Anna’s prior experience includes customer relations and managing a family bridal business for over 20 years. She resides in Colchester with her husband Rick and two sons Matthew and Derrick. Anna enjoys gourmet cooking, skiing and boating on beautiful Lake Champlain.
