Special Olympics
On June 5, 2009, employees of Davis & Hodgdon Associates had the pleasure of volunteering at the Special Olympics' Vermont 2009 Summer Bocce Games held at the University of Vermont.  The volunteers enjoyed refereeing the Bocce competition and taking part in a global movement in providing the athletes with intellectual disabilities an opportunity to experience the excitement and personal fulfillment associated with sports training and competition.  The athletes really put on a show of skill while experiencing happiness and friendship.

Time, energy, dedication and commitment of more than 1.500 volunteers who work at various levels to fill a wide variety of roles helps Special Olympics Vermont exist today.
